Description

TINY BRADSHAW - “Tiny Plays”
ULTRA RARE 1956 KING LP
KING 395-501
One of the true rarities on KING …
contains the monster Train Kept A Rollin’” …
Very hard to find, amazing collectible album.
I grade VERY conservatively and very honestly …
I take photos in the harshest possible light to show as much detail as possible on any flaws.
The cover I grade as a G+ … many would grade it a VG-
It has a top split seam, and wear in the corners …
the front and back present very well, and the bottom and side seams are still intact but the side spine is wrinkling …
There are 2 stickers on the front cover … the one on the top right has a very tiny paper tear but really small … sticker is from Atomic Records and can probably be removed carefully with a damp rag and some patience. Or leave it on. The other sticker is a 70 year old price sticker that is married to the cover for life. It’s a nice piece of the history from the original store. The back cover is clean but has one small DOT stain near the title listings. Otherwise a nice back cover.
The record I would grade G … it is scruffy and scratchy but it’s still thick and heavy and if you collect these King and Federal and the Aladdin’s and Scores etc. you’ll know how these can sometimes look worse than they sound …
I played a few sections and it plays pretty clean … there is a little crackle and hiss but NOT very bad … “Train Kept A Rollin’” is of course one truly BADASS number ! The solo goes crazy and it’s SOOO good!
All in all a really killer holy grail LP …
selling a a good price to allow for any condition issues and thus should be a GREAT deal for the right KING / FEDERAL R&B / JAZZ collector!
