TORONTO LITURGICAL MUSIC COLLECTIVE "  GODLIGHT "  1976 , canada

Fantastic Canadian xian rock rarity with 3 great cuts featuring effects and fuzz. Top copy here in original shrink-wrap. Here's an excerpt from Ken Scott's Archivist… "TLMC stands for the Toronto Liturgical Music Collective. That doesn’t sound like a particularly promising name, but it turns out to be a magnificent male/female electric folkrock lp with soft-psych edges. Not the type of sound you’d typically expect from a Canadian recording as Godlight seems more in line with the big dollar UK folk privates. In fact on some of these songs you’d swear it was Presence or Mystery Maker. TLMC is mainly four individuals: Michael Arbour, Paul Bochar, Helen Despres and James Murphy, plus three others on additional instruments. In the electric category are ‘Lord Of Mercy’ and ‘Doxology (Blues)’ with phased guitar backing, ‘Lamb Of Ninths’ and ‘Prophet’s Hope’ with cool wah-wah solos, and ‘Now’s The Time’ with the fuzz. Also some exceptionally beautiful delicate acoustic ballads, sometimes with recorder or violin accompaniment. In between are some fine jangly 12-string folkrock moods like ‘Stewards’. Gorgeous fragile harmonies throughout from the four. (Ken Scott - Archivist)"

RECORD  M- near perfect, like new  / EX light superficial wear ,seen under strong light ,not audible affecting play ) /VG++ one click below ex  ,much better than VG+ should plays close to EX , when music is in, no surface noise audble ,no pops or annoying play, i dont use VG++ /  VG+ (medium amount of superficial wear, but plays well, great for dj-ing , should satisfy most , would be a great play copy despite the look , something easily met in good pressing 45s  / VG (can have quite a lot of superficial wear and lighter scratches, but should still play well, still no bad deterioration on sound or repetitive pops ) / VG- (a lot of wear and scratches normally for rare pressings or poor exotic countries pressings / G+ many suffs hairlines surface wear , still no jump or skip , in case of loud pressing might play still ok with surface noise evident , filler copy  .The point always for 45 is not to have been played with bad cartridge and not having deep scuffs creating loud pops ot sticks/skips .the 45s here would be ALWAYS SOUND AUDIO CHECKED apart from what they look . Grading is strict and  it would be in the way of a record I'd like to receive when buying (from a collectors point of view). I try to describe everything as well as possible, but in case I've missed something, you just have to let me know and we'll work it out in a satisfactory way.dont worry
