Description
Released by Tamla Motown in 1965, cat # TMG 540; this is “My Girl Has Gone” / “Since You Won My Heart” by The Miracles.
This is a red/white demo with the release dates in the centre of each label. The A-side label has slight discolouration and the B-side label has a slight ring-mark, which you can hopefully see in the picture. The playing surfaces have some small surface marks and is visually graded as very good. Playing, the A-side has a small amount of crackle at the very start, but doesn’t last long. Both sides plays excellently. The record has the original sleeve, but as it is damaged, I will send the record in a plain white sleeve for safety.
All of these Motown singles come from the same source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The vast majority of the collection is mint or unplayed, but he clearly loved his Motown as most of the 60’s and early 70’s singles are generally in very good condition, but with a few notable exceptions!
