Description
Released by Tamla Motown in 1967, cat # TMG 608 this is “Just Look What You’ve Done†/ “Starting The Hurst All Over Again†by Brenda Holloway.
This is a green/white demo copy with the release date in the centre of both labels. The labels are nice and clean with slight wear on the raised edge of the A-side label. Both playing surfaces have minimal signs of wear, with only a couple light surfaces marks to speak of. Playing, the A-side plays excellently with no sound deterioration or faults. The B-side starts with a tiny bit of crackle but is soon gone. The record grades as excellent and comes in a slightly damaged orange Tamla sleeve with white sticker with artist/track details in the top left corner.
All of these Motown singles come from the same source – an original 60’s DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The vast majority of the collection is mint or unplayed, but he clearly loved his Motown as most of the 60’s and early 70’s singles are generally in very good condition, but with a few notable exceptions!
