TO THE REAR MARCH - 18 AFRS TRANSCRIPTION DISCS (1 is a Duplicate #027) – OTR
To the Rear March was an AFRS program produced for the men and women of the armed forces. Similar to Command Performance it was never heard by civilians. But, unlike Command Performance, GI Journal, and Mail Call, this program pieced together its show from the best of the current radio comedies of the day. Depending on the episode there could be as much as 4 separate programs pieced together. For example, The Jack Benny Program, Danny Kaye Show, The Charlie McCarthy Show.
Having had these transferred to digital I can say they are VERY GOOD in condition and sound. A few of the discs have issues and they have been described below for each disc. Any questions please ask before bidding. Buyer pays $15 Media Mail. Thank you.
