TOM DISSEVELT - ELECTRONIC MOVEMENTS / PHILIPS 430 736 PE /1962 / 

Electronic Music PS EP. Uk pressing in great condition.

1st pressing textured "Philips" labels  1E/ E-1 matrix stampers.

Laminated on front flipback jacket is EX with just mild wear, looks really nice.

Disc is M-, nice clean labels.

Dissevelt was a Dutch composer and band leader and an electronic music pioneer at the Philips Eindhoven studio in the 50s (alongside Henk Badings) and at the University of Utrecht in the 60s (where Gottfried Michael Koenig and Zoltan Pongracz also worked); in collaboration with Dick Raaijmakers (aka Kid Baltan) as The Electrosoniks, he created some of the earliest ever electronic pop (which would go on to influence artists like Jean-Michel Jarre, Paul Beaver, Bernie Krause, Aphex Twin, Jean-Jacques Perrey, Gershon Kingsley, Hrvatski, Bruce Haack, Kraftwerk, Piero Umiliani, Cecil Leuter, Pierre Henry, etc.). Should also be of interest to fans of Jan Boerman, Gilius van Bergeijk, Herbert Eimert, Francois Bayle, Bernard Parmegiani, Jon Appleton, Tod Dockstader, Ilhan Mimaroglu, Pierre Schaeffer, Luc Ferrari, Herbert Eimert, Robert Beyer, Vladimir Ussachevsky, Rune Lindblad, John Eaton, DJ Premier, Stereolab, Mu-Ziq, Matmos, Ondioline, Arp, Theremin, Oskar Sala, Raymond Scott, and Morton Subotnick.
