 •Other Info: Comes in a gatefold cover.  This is a fundamental and essential record for those who collect or are interested in Moog or electronic records.  Although it’s a very early release—1962, though this is a reissue from a few years later—it’s possible to detect the fun, even silly sounds that would later appear on many LPs in the 1960s and 70s, as opposed to the dry, academic experimentalism that had largely prevailed until this record came out.   Tom Dissevelt and Kid Baltan (aka Dick Raaijmakers) were two Dutch musicians who came from the experimental side of electronic music, but what they did on this album is totally innovative and exciting.   As the liner notes say: “Never before has electronic music been so melodic, so fully arranged, and such pleasant listening.  Tom Dissevelt and Kid Baltan have created groovy vibrations and singing sounds to delight the ears of all who hear.”
