A first issue UK 1965 album in original condition, featuring:

1. Tom Jones , ‘debut’ album LP, from 1965,

2. earliest engraved record matrix of, 1A/1A,

3. earliest engraved, 'mothers' of, 1/1,

4. original first issue UK 1965, red 'ridged' Decca record labels,

5. more unusual 'Roman' font text record labels,

6. comes with its original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the sleeve is laminated on the front. The two opening edges of the sleeve have remained clean and sharp. The spine is in excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve’. An excellent clean, well preserved inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent+ condition, side two is in near MINT condition, note that the condition of the record has been judged under normal 'daylight' conditions. The record is made of the quality period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix is: ARL 6781 1A and ARL 6782 1A,

The ‘mother/stampers’ are: 1K, and 1I’, I think it is. The letters ‘KT’ are also engraved onto the ‘run off’ groove each side.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent++, with excellent quiet grooves, a near perfect audio. Each side plays with a full powerful period, mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.
