Hi! This is a rare original copy of the second lp by this virtually unknown folk-rocker from new york. It's on the New Fate label(03100) from 1982(but has much more of a 70's sound...)His first lp was reissued last year on the radioactive label with much interest... As an added bonus, this album comes with a bunch of press release information including a signed letter by the record label owner. So if you're a fan of the first record and want to know more about this dude, now is your chance! Really nice copy! Record looks NM and unplayed. Cover is a strong VG+ though there's a small unfortunate price sticker rip and very small marker mark next to the rip. One of a kind item! Here's the description of the reissue of his first album: "Another top-notch release from the series of private label pressings that is becoming an important part of the Radioactive reissue programme, this time by the New York electric folk/rock singer-songwriter, Tom Lucas. Although virtually nothing is known about Lucas, Red Letter Day is an extremely fine album. The sound is awesome, the song writing tight and occasionally politically motivated (particularly the title track with its eye glancing towards Woody Guthrie's tribute to Sacco and Vanzetti), and the music often risky and
experimental. Lucas's vocal style is almost pure Neil Young and at times Red Letter Day feels almost like the album Young never got around to making. Other influences come up
