Description

This is for an original pressing of the vinyl LP (and Promotional Stamp under a sticker) of "Hard Promises" by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.  I visually grade this album and cover to be in excellent plus condition.  This gently pre-owned album was played once, and then filed away for "safe-keeping". This album was released in 1981 by Backstreet MCA Records, #MCA-2445. The outer cover has a white sticker (top left), it covers a gold Promotional Stamp, the owner of the record store covered the Promotional stamp with the sticker (see photos).  I did not try to peel it off because I did not want to ruin the album cover, I recommend not trying to peel it).   The original cardboard inner sleeve and lyric sheet is included.  My date of purchase (12-2-1981) is lightly written in pencil on the inner lip of the lyric sleeve (it is very easily erasable).  The spine is slightly off centered.  This great album contains the classic songs "The Waiting", "Kings Road", "A Woman In Love", and 2 duets with Stevie Nicks "Insider" and "You Can Still Change Your Mind".  This will be a very nice addition to your collection.  I will be very happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases.
