Description
This is a very rare original US pressing of Tom Petty, Full Moon Fever, originally released by MCA Records in 1989. This is the pressing that was released through Columbia Record Club. As this was released when record companies were only releasing limited quantities on vinyl, clean copies of this rare pressing are becoming increasingly difficult to find
As to grading, I grade very conservatively. For records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.
The LP visually is in excellent condition with no visible marks. The LP was play tested using headphones and plays very quietly with the minor exception few ticks heard in the dead wax only leading into 2d cut on Side 1, I Wont Back Down, and a barely audible tick heard during Yer So Bad, second cut on Side Two I would play grade on the higher end of very good plus.. Please note that LP was cleaned before testing which was done few weeks before listing and done by hand and not machine. It should be cleaned again before listening. The cover is in very good plus condition. The seams and spine are strong with no wear evident in terms of rub wear and loss of color, with no splits and the product information still readable on the spine. All four corners are very slightly crimped. The front and back of cover are very clean with vibrant color although with some ring and other wear such as few creases evident.
The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned.
