This LP is a winner all the way around. there is a SHAGS like charm to Tom Speed's 16 year old songwriting and sometimes off key singing. Tom plays all instruments and even added vocal harmonies in the studio when recording this album. This LP was released in 1972 on the Rose City Sound record label in portland oregon a full two years before they issued the Incomparable Bob Desper new sounds LP. this album should be filed right along side Jeff Moore's -Youngest Son LP. There is an understated charm to the whole package. this vanity pressing didn't see distribution in the states. it was primarily available to the congregation following services where Tom Speed would have performed. This is a SEALED copy. the record moves inside the jacket if shaken. i don't believe the shrink wrap has caused any warpage. I couldn't find much information or blog posts on this LP. I'm pretty sure the fact that Tom Speed was 16 years old at the time of recording is NEW INFORMATION regarding this 'incredibly strange' release. winning bidder can contact me regarding insurance or registration. there will be an extra charge for these services. paypal please.
