'Blue Valentine' LP
It was August of 1979 that saw this, the new album from Tom Waits being sent out to record stores. But clerks didn't know what to do with it. They couldn't figure out if the record was pressed at the wrong speed, if the band didn't show up, or if the singer was ill. They just wanted another new Lp from Journey or Styx. THAT was why Tom Waits was such a well kept secret.
All these years later finding a mint LP like this is nearly an event. This is the original release in the gatefold sleeve with the lyrics inside.
