ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL ROCKABILLY "SWEETIE PIE / I DIG YOU BABY"
1958 ORIGINAL DOUBLE-SIDED ROCKABILLY KILLER!!! (Dead Wax -- (45-u-312 & 45-u-313) Long Trail-off
(NOTE: To further verify originality, the #300 is centered in the middle, below "Tommy Blake) THICK VINYL!
Q: WHY IS IT SO VERY RARE?
A: Tommy Blake, and Sam Phillips had a disagreement. Sam "fired" Tommy. Then all of the Sun #300's were pulled and destroyed. This is a copy which was missed!!!
CONDITION: I am grading the vinyl at (VG-) BUT the Play Grade is (VG+) to (VG++) PLAYS STRONG, LOUD AND CLEAR!
(there is some "accent" writing on the "S" and "U" on the "I Dig You" side, and a very small amount of missing label on the "Sweetie" side.
Tommy Blake's second SUN single is highly sought-after by collectors and very, very hard to find.
