Description



Songs From Tommy Scott's Road Show--6-song EP with picture cover--Katona 45-R1375.  Great Rockabilly and Country Boppers.  Vocals are by Rudy Preston, Bobo Baxter (I love this guy's accent), and Tommy Scott.   Tommy Scott was originally from Georgia but toured all across the U.S. with his troup.  Gaines Blevins was Tommy's guitar player for many years and played on these six tracks.  Tunes are:  Bay-Sho-Del / Flea Circus / Rosebuds / Don't You Go Chicken / Alone With A Memory / and Four Tired Car.  Vinyl is a strong VG+ on Side 1 (one scuff) and EX+ on Side 2.  Disc still retains original gloss and sounds great.  Very crude picture cover made of heavy-stock paper ia actually one sheet that had been folded, then stapled at the sides to retain the record.  Some copies had the sides taped using red or green tape which was a bit unsightly, but nevertheless still very rare.  These picture covers were assembled and sold while the members were on the road and touring, not sold in stores.  This picture cover is EX.  There is a small crease around the staple in the upper left corner.  There is minor ringwear to the front and back and some tarnishing to the metal staples (please see scans).  Overall, the picture cover presents very well and is in remarkable condition for its age, a very collectible item!.  Soundclips will be included.  Postage and insurance for this item is $10.00 in the U.S. and $19.00 overseas.  Please wait for our invoice.  We combine postage for items listed over a 10-day to two-week span.  If you are bidding on several items and win, please disregard the automatically-generated eBay invoices and we'll invoice you for combined postage.
