graded VG+/VG+ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: the Original British Pressed Parlophone Black/Yellow label PCS 7042 Stereo original press it's VG++ because some minor spindle marks around the centre hole.
cover: the cover it's a laminated flipback type and does have minor creases on front plus some storage wear and a nice back cover with just 3/4 small creases on the flaps and a minimal dirt on the white parts. Before or after the title tracks there's a green point made with a pen. I think that VG+ it's appropiate for this still absolutely nice cover.
vinyl: the vinyl does have evident light marks caused by the dust and during the plays theres some short moment where a light crackle it's present and at 99% between the tracks but the large part of the playing surface it's absolutelly and totally enjoyable so the VG+ I have to give it's a very conservative grade and totally enjoyable if you are not looking for a EX and perfect copy, sincerely very hard to find nowdays. This copy it's Stereo but his sound it's sharp and high as the MONO copies I have previously heard and this is probably because the fantastic pressing of the erlier pressings and this is a very early press as suggest the KT tax code and the vinyl matrix code in the dead wax zone that it's YEX 667-1 in the side one and YEX 668-1 in the side two so very early press. Some seconds of crackling are presents in the third track side one where the music start more quiet but normaly the record play as an EX at least in the playing surface.
review: This is really a stunning album and one of the most important and beautiful of the late seventies when the british psychedelia become the more innovative music of the period and the psychedelia it's still now at the beginning of the third millennium the only musical innovation possible. This is a really innovative album and you can listen here also some of the sound of Pretty Things Masterpiece "SF Sorrow" and maybe the musical connection it's TWINK, not only drummer but a thinking head and tracks as "My White Bicycle" and "Revolution" went before of SF Sorrow that has been made in September 1967. Steve Howe plays fantasticaly the guitar and will be with YES some years later. This is an enormous Masterpiece so ... don't miss this opportunity!!!
