Tomorrow featuring Keith West : Tomorrow 1/1 1st Stereo Press 1968
This very collectable first pressing plays with stunning quality on both sides with no intrusion. There are no ticks, clicks, pops or static and the only background is a little inner groove distortion towards the end of S2. However, is this just how it was recorded / produced? I suspect it is because the vinyl has hardly been played based on its stunning visual 'look' and that there is hardly any spindle wear. The clarity and definition of the audio is so impressive and yes the vinyl itself has been so well looked after over the last 57 years!
The G & L Patents pending cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear and hopefully the photos do it justice. The inner sleeve is 2-72 so can't be the original but is nonetheless in excellent shape.

Visual description
The vinyl is stunning and still has a lovely glossy sheen with no marks or scratches. Under a bright light I can only see a small number of very faint hairlines but there is nothing that stands out. This is one of the cleanest examples you will ever find! There is no groove or surface wear and the Parlophone labels are practically 'as new' with barely any spindle wear. The KT tax stamp can easily be seen on the S1 label.
Play grading
The intro on 'My White Bicycle' has only minimal static for the first couple of seconds, the rest perfect. The opening vocal has no intrusion and from then on plays with stunning clarity and depth. Put simply there is no background and the audio really is so clean and precise. A psychedelic classic akin to early Floyd late 60s Pretty Things the playback cannot be faulted, well apart from the first two seconds! A Mint- start to the album.
'Colonel Brown' is of the same high end standard with nothing getting in the way of the audio. West's vocal is so clean and the instrumental passages are just as impressive. Mint
The slow build up intro on 'Real Life Permanent Dream' is nigh on perfect with only a couple of very quiet statics and as the volume increases the audio is superb. The first vocal is equal to that and it continues in the same precise way. The clarity and depth of the audio is first class and of course it features great work from Steve Howe, sitar work if I'm not mistaken. Every section plays with phenomenal quality even the slightly quieter passages. This is another stunning version, a 'busy' track and yet you 'lose' nothing - impeccable separation from start to finish. A true psychedelic classic in every way and Mint- is deserved.
'Shy Boy' once again provides more evidence of a vinyl rarely played and so well preserved. From the very first note it plays with stunning precision and this clarity of sound is kept up throughout. Exceptional depth and warmth and no distortion on the top end. Mint
'Revolution' ends S1 with incredible audio. Kind of three songs in one the sonic quality is breathtaking. No ticks, clicks, pops or static the clarity and power of the audio is so strong and I have nothing but praise for this version. There is no inner groove distortion and the instrumental at the end plays with impeccable power and depth. Turn it up to max! Such a quirky number and Mint- at the very least. What. A. Side! Stunning. It's also worth noting that every fade out has no background, that's a measure of the clarity on offer here.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The intro on 'The Incredible Journey Of Timothy Chase' plays with exceptional quality and West's opening vocal is on the same level i.e. no interference. The standard does not drop as it progresses and Howe again showing how accomplished he was even at that age, what was he when this was recorded, 21?! Every section plays with incredible depth and I only noticed a couple of barely audible statics. Mint-
With complete silence in the dead wax the intro on 'Auntie Mary's Dress Shop' plays perfectly as does the opening vocal. It continues to play with sublime clarity and warmth through every section. As per nearly all the tracks it is very much vocally / lyrically driven but there is so much going on musically also, just listen to the end section, superb! This is a classic example of that early quintessential English psychedelic sound and it does not disappoint! Mint
Their original take on 'Strawberry Fields Forever' plays with STUNNING quality through every vocal and instrumental section. I cannot fault it - a more 'powerful' version the clarity and definition of the audio is so strong and again there is no background of any kind, not even a solitary dust tick. The closing section in particular plays with genuine power and depth. A superb Mint version.
The intro on the LSD influenced 'Three Jolly Little Dwarves' plays without fault and the opening vocal section has no interference and only a minimal amount of distortion. It continues in the same way and in a sense distortion isn't the right word for it because it still plays very clearly and it's probably due to how it was recorded / produced. I will however grade it as Near Mint
'Now Your Time Has Come' is of a very similar standard. No actual interference and only affected by very minimal distortion, very very minimal! I'm probably doing it a disservice by even mentioning it! The vocals are still very clear and the instrumental section lead by Howe plays with great clarity and depth. No ticks, clicks etc and Near Mint is fair. Powerful work from Twink of course.
'Hallucinations' closes the album with real quality from the get go. Again there is no interference and only a minimal amount of inner groove distortion that does not intrude on the quality of the listen. A superb track that grades as Near Mint
The Cover & Inner Sleeve
The G & L Patents pending cover is in excellent condition with only minimal shelf wear. The edges are unmarked and the thin pinched spine is very clean with only a handful of 'marks' caused by the usual edge creases either side. The corners of the spine have only minimal rubbing and the right hand corners have hardly any wear. The opening edge is in great shape also with very little handling wear. The laminated front cover is very clean with only a couple of tiny faint marks and a minor touch of ringwear and the back cover is very impressive when you consider it isn't laminated. It has only minimal faint marking and the three flipbacks remain firmly attached to the cover apart from a small crease 'area' in the top left corner. Only the right hand flipback has a little staining on the edge, the other two are very clean. A fine example overall.
The poly-lined inner sleeve has no side splits or tears and no marking, some light creasing only. As stated it is not the original one.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD). An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known. All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection. They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection. I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.
The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each. There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up! Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
