Description
Caroline, U.K., 1973
VG+ to EX/ VG+
Cover has very light corner crease at top of spine, a few very light browning spots, mostly near top. There are no seam splits, nor even any edge wear really, but there is tape across top and bottom edges ( done so cleanly I thought it was part of the cover, til I compared it with another copy). There are lengthwise residue marks ( somewhat sticky) from removed scotch tape inside cover pocket.
Lp has only mild, minimal background surface noise throughout, slightly noticeable but not major.
Landmark work of maximum minimalism by fellow avant gardists Tony Conrad and FAUST, Conrad's droniness continues on fully outside his 60s work with the DREAM SYNDICATE, while Faust offer repeating, shifting, hypnotic textures similar to "It's A Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl" from their "So Far" lp. Historic listening.
