TONY JACKSON & THE VIBRATIONS 1964 SINGLE - BYE BYE BABY - AUSTRALASIAN COPY. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class. Australian Pye label with Pye New Zealand company bag. This is Tony' first single after splitting from the Searchers where he was lead singer up to and including "Needles and Pins". He turns Mary Wells' Bye Bye Baby into a typical Mersey Beat number and the B side, Bobby Parker's classic, is a stand out performance. The record is a nice copy with a few minor surface marks, none of which are detectable by touch. Sound output is crisp and clear without surface noise, crackles or clicks. Both sides have been checked and played in full and at suitably loud volume using a Citronic pro PD-1s MK2 direct drive turntable, QSC GX3 power amp and Sonus Faber speakers.
