Tony Romandini-And Six Sensational Sidemen, Canadian Talent Library, M 1063, 1965.
Rare Canadian-only radio promotional LP (never available in stores) featuring guitarist, banjo player, and composer Tony Romandini along with his "Six Sensational Sidemen" (including drummer Roger Simard and Nick Ayoub on clarinet). "Plus Ultra" and "Mighty Mouse" (listen to clips of both below) are two unknown jazz killers with plenty of haunting soul (*especially considering the 1965 recording date). Future primitive and super boss! You won't find another copy any time soon. Microgroove pressing.
