Rare Ep from Tony Worsely and the Blue Jays....."I Sure Know a Lot About Love." Released on the collectable Sunshine label. This is a very rare shop display copy with "Display Purposes Only" printed on the lower back cover, and "Sample Not For Sale" stamped on a label. This ep is hard enought to find at the best of times.....but there was probably only a few dozen copies of this version handed out prior to official release.
All four tracks are really good. The title track is classic OZ 60s R&B influenced garage rock with raw vocals and short twangy guitar solo. "Me you gotta teach" is slightly more refined/measured but still has a hint of rawness. The R&B standard "King Bee" sounds similar to the Stones' version, while another Stones song "So much in love" has a more pop feel.
Cover is VG....small name on back. Minor edge/corner/shelf wear. Couple hairline creases. Still presents really well.
Vinyl is VG-...reatains most of original sheen but has some light surface scuffs/scratches that cause faint background noise in places. Still a really enjoyable listen though.
Labels are Ex-...minor general wear.
A decent playing copy with an incredibly rare display cover....very unlikely to see another copy of this soon!
