We have re-opened our Badinfluance Site on ebay after a 1 1/2 year hiatus due to health issues. We have been listing some vinyl on our Badinfluance55 Site and will continue to list on both sites. We closed our record store and we are reducing inventory. We will be listing a large amount of vinyl in the hot jazz category. A large array of variety in format and artists will be offered. We are offering free shipping on most items and a small additional item amount for multiple buys. We try to offer you the best friendly service and rare hard to find vinyl etc from our inventory. You will find items beginning in our ebay store and others that will be offered auction style.

A brief note about visual and soundgrading. In the past, we have not had a great turntable to do our soundcheck on; we have since acquired a Pyle Tech USB turntable, and a nice Dual turntable and that will be the sound you will hear when provided on a listing. Please remember some companies did not make the best pressings and there will be flaws in the sound that higher end equipment owners will hear. Your rarer hard to find records are going to be 50 years old or more. We want your purchase to be in an enjoyable, playable condition, however, we may miss a flaw, so be sure and ask your questions and feel free to contact us with an error you may see in the listing. Discerning collectors, ask your pertinent questions to avoid any disappointment. Remember grading is subjective to the person doing the grading. If you need more information, we will provide it for you time permitting. please address any input in a constructive, positive manner!   ADDITIONAL INFO: This is a unique set created by the New Universal. The set includes text in elegant gold lettering and Four (4) 9x6 black & white photos from the theater production. The 3 78's are special pressings which include WHERE ARE YOU BY TOMMY DORSEY AND ORCH ON A VICTOR SCROLL * the flip side: THAT FOOLISH FEELING BY SHEP FIELDS on a BUFF BLUEBIRD LABEL;
  The second 78 is: JAMBOREE BY GENE KARDOS ON A MELOTONE BLUE LABEL; the flip side is: TOP OF THE TOWN BY STERLING YOUNG AND HIS ORCHESTRA;
  The third 78 is BLAME IT ON THE RHUMBA BY GERTRUDE NIESEN; the flip side is: THERE'S NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT BY RUSS MORGAN MANNER

  We have included a copy of an article written by Les Docks about the set. The "MULE" (dorsey/fields) was not/is not a pressing error. Was specially issued in this set.

• BOOK CONDITION: the book cover is cloth and shows some soiling and light wear, corners are in nice condition. the inside pages are in very nice condition, a silver pen notation on 2 of the record sleeves
• VINYL CONDITION: all records V+/E-;
• labels are not graded, minor flaws not noted, see pic for full evaluation

• E+ (78) Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets.
• E (78) Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
• E- (78) Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches.
• V+ (78) V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
• V (78) Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
• V- (78) Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
• G+ (78) Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled. Heavy scratches.
• G (78). Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still higher than surface noise.
• G- (78) Music still prominent, but wear and scatch damage extensive
