Description
ORIGINAL BERLINER FROM 1898
You are bidding on a very early Berliner from 1898 of the actor/singer Maurice Farkoa. It is in fine condition for its age, save for one wear line. These usually turn up worn to blazes so it is good to have a decent copy. It has the usual undulating surface typical of Berliners but it plays without problems.
There is a very small indentation right at the beginning where the shellac has come off but which tracks through without problem (see scan). It is, in fact, during the Farkoa's spoken introduction to the song and clicks a few times but without interfering with the music.This record will be brilliantly packed and sent in a strong outer box to ensure safe arrival.
