PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! BEAUTIFUL MINT... RARE & SOUGHT authentic old thick cardboard cover
1968 FIRST PRINTING issue on the legendary International Artists label = very collectible Texas acid injected fuzzrock crew who issued this one and only outstanding psychedelic garage albums on the International Artists label...
...an excellent array of Texas psychedelic laced garage nuggets ... from the legendary International Artists label... The Houston Texas based Lost And Found were able to land a deal with the label thanks to their friendship with Roky Erickson (to whom they pay homage on the album with a cover of the 13th Floor Elevators 'Don't Fall Down').
The 13th Floor Elevators were the biggest thing on the Texas psychedelic scene in 1967, and far and away the most successful act on International Artists Records, so it's no great shock that Houston's Lost & Found, who were signed to I.A. label in the wake of the Elevators' hit single "You're Gonna Miss Me," bore a certain resemblance to Roky Erickson's crew of stoned psychedelic explorers. It didn't hurt that the Elevators befriended Lost & Found during their early days as the Misfits or that they were persuaded to cover the Elevators' "Don't Look Down" during the sessions for this, their first (and only) album, Everybody's Here. However, this album suggests the band was best served when they were trying to clear a musical trail of their own. Vocalist Peter Black was close toreplicating Erickson's feral howl and how hard he tried (and his attempt to sound like Bob Dylan on the title track is better than Dylan himself), and on psych-pop nuggets like "I Realize" and "Forever Lasting Plastic Words," he summons up a fine psych-rock croon, and at its best, the guitar interplay between Black and Jimmy Frost suggests John Lennon and George Harrison as much as anyone in the psychedelic Southwest. The extended blues workout "Zig Zag Blues" fires up six minutes of fuzzed psych glories, and the trippy final cut, "Living Eye" (named for a hip Houston nightspot of the day), is very interesting... there was a great garage-psychedelic band lurking within Lost & Found that rises to the surface the moment the needle hits the first track of Everybody's Here -and the thrills don't let up until the end... too bad no one was around to encourage them back in the day, especially since the band called it quits by mid-1968, with Peter Black and bassist James Harrell going on to form another act beloved by fans of Texas psychedelia, Endle St. Cloud.
