Description
Set of three audio disc studio acetate master records, each 16" in diameter for a recorded rehearsal on January 28, 1947 of 'Death and Transfiguration' by Strauss conducted by Arturo Toscanini. Two parts are recorded on each master record. There is some whiting of the record surface and there are several edge nicks exposing the metal base on each record. There is also a 5.5" long scratch on one of the records as can be seen in a close-up image below.
The images below were taken using a camera with flash and show some bright spots from use of the flash.
