Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk and Powerpop records on the German eBay site www.eBay.de

 

Extremely rare Test Pressing from 1991…and guaranteed 100% unplayed. Like all test pressings, only a handful were made. Usually, test pressings were born without sleeves. But this is special: the producer (Jon Cafferey) or the record company (Virgin Records) wrote the correct ‘Virgin’ records catalogue number 614 978 plus the handwritten words 1. Anpressung Baby Baby (26.11.91) on the plain white sleeve. It is an extremely rare opportunity to get this UNVERKÄUFLICHE MUSTERPLATTE with the handwritten notice. Another special is: regular 7” versions were born with two tracks only. This 12” version features a third song not available on the 7". This great track is entitled ‘Do You Remember’. You can also listen to the A-sider ‘Baby Baby’; a great cover version; originally recorded by the VIBRATORS in 1977 and you can hear a British punk classic: ‘Richmond’ originally recorded by punk band PINPOINT in 1979, Pinpoint included Arturo Bassick originally of the LURKERS.
