Description
I am auctioning a selection of hard to find rock records from the late 60's and early 70's this week. Most of the records came from a collection I bought, but I have thrown in a few jazz LPs as well. The rock records all seem to have the original labels, which is nice for such early rock. The covers tend to have ring wear and scuffing on the title side, due to storage, so please check out the pics and description details. The discs are mostly in excellent condition, and I will rate them all by the Goldmine standard. I mail records sandwiched between two flattened Priority Mail shirt boxes, so there is two layers of corrugated cardboard on either side of the record. This tends to cost a bit more in postage than the standard mailers, but the boxes are free and the protection for the record it very good. If you like this record, you are likely to find others you like in this week's listings.
This is a mono copy of Floyd's first LP from 1967. It has the orange red label, and my camera often gets this color wrong, so don't worry if it looks too red or orange - it's my photos. The disc is VG+, but I could call it VG++, except that that's not really a Goldmine grade. The markings on the vinyl are light and I can't really say they are real scratches, just light scuffs and lines. Played great for me. The label is the original Tower label, and my camera often gets this color too red or too orange. The label is just as it should be. The cover has lots of wear, ring wear, title edge tearing, and a short split to the top seam and a long split to the bottom seam. Wear to the upper title edge is serious with tearing. I have a stereo copy of 'Saucer Full of Secrets' listed in my other auctions. Thanks for looking. No Reserve!!! I will combine winning items to save you money on shipping, when practical. Bidders outside the USA please note that I require insurance for this item, which means it must be mailed by Priority Mail International, with postage starting at $20 to most countries, insurance included. An extra charge of a few dollars for insurance coverage may apply to international winners, depending on the final bid amount.
