T.P. SMOKE - Smoke LP (GERMAN Telefunken PT Stereo 12033, 1970)
Very rare German only 1970 1st Press of great psych-prog LP from Danish trio. This is heavy-progressive music (with strong psychedelic influences) based on heavy Hammond organ sounds, with bass and drums - similar to the Crazy World Of Arthur Brown, Nicholas Greenwood and Procol Harum. It was never released outside of Germany and is still not available on CD.
Cover: EXCELLENT- Fully laminated cover does have a lot of shine and is very fine condition - just with 4 light creases on front and 4 creases on back and a few short wrinkles along the edges. All edges and spine are great. Not perfect, but very enjoyable, 40-years old cover.
Record: EXCELLENT- (looks and plays EXCELLENT+/MINT-) Record looks like MINT-/EXCELLENT+ (very clean with few light hairlines on) and plays great, but it does have factory pressing error in winyl (many small holes pressed in and measured 4mm x 2cm) on first track on side 2 (the weakest one...) which caused some light crackles and light noises for some 2 minutes - during long piano introduction. THAT'S WHY I DOWNGRADED THAT VINYL TO EX-. This may sounds bad in print, but the record is in nice condition except 2 minutes period - when it does have some light crackling - nothing more.
Both labels are immaculate!
You can bid with confidence – check my feedback, please. My grading system is very strict – with very slight difference between M and EX. As a collector too I perfectly know, what does it mean to buy an overgraded record!!!
All my records (including 7-inches) were cleaned on Clearaudio Matrix machine and are ready to listen – without any disturbing noises or crackles caused by dirt.
