Now here's a GREAT original from the heartland of British psychedelia!I was afraid to open this when I first set eyes on it as the cover is so fragile to handle - you NEVER find one in this condition, not for vinyl and ESPECIALLY not for the cover. Well, aside from buying it in 1967 when it saw release. At that time nearly 50(!) years ago it was a joy to listen to - a true ear-opening experience. Here was a VERY talented young band with 'pedigree', making innovative new sounds for a FANTASTIC resulting LP. Steve Winwood still plays now and proves his wonderful ability as a guitarist, keyboard player and singer - and this historic issue heralded his confident dexterity, as a landmark following his departure from outstanding The Spencer Davis Group.  Nice to find this original issue in such outrageous great condition, these really must be EXTREMELY few and far between - mind-blowing in every respect!

The vinyl is EX, a top TOP copy, way above average. Plays perfectly, sounds great, probably not seen much play. Matrices end 'A2' and 'B2'. The ORIGINAL Black/Orange 'globe' matt Pink Lables grade NM condition. The  gatefold sleeve card cover grades EX, most copies would have seen some handling wear even when sold from the rack in 1967, but - this one is FANTASTIC!  Only slight corner wear to the spinal corners. Otherwise superb!

Vinyl: VG+ to EX.  The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches only a couple of the lightest short hairlines and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREMELY bright light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some absolutely MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!

Gatefold Sleeve: EX.  The 1st Press Gatefold Flipback Laminated STEEO Cover Printed and made by the E.J. Day group Ltd. is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The spine is fully legible without any wear. It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear to the spinal corners, only VERY slight corner wear to the opening corners , only a few VERY light creases (the cover is VERY flat looking),  NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are PERFECTLY straight with NO feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition with NO rubbing, NO yellowing, STUNNING flipbacks, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade EX if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

This album also still retains its original poly lined blue printed inner sleeve which has light yellowing around the edges.

***This is a unique prime investment opportunity!!! Finding this classic album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!! This is  a great and seriously collectable super album!!  You will buy into a piece of  superb prog history.***

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.

Important : International postage will be registered and insured if over GBP 30.00.  Please wait for my invoice before paying. Postage will be according to Royal Mail rates. Postage is NOT a money spinning exercise for me.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!
