Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first U.K. pressing of Traffic – Traffic The on the PINK ISLAND label with the with the black, white and orange eye label, cat. no. ILPS 9081T and booklet stapled to the inside of the gatefold cover.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are a couple non-sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding lines. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks and there is a bit discolouring around the spindle hole on both sides.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is a very tiny sticker tear in the upper right corner and some slight ring wear on the front and the spine has some bald spots but is still legible. The booklet is VG++ condition. There are some very tiny age browning spots on some pages and the last page has a tiny tear and a small font in the bottom section.
Although this copy is of the second Traffic album is not in a dream mint, this still is a very rare original 1st U.K. pressing. These PINK ISLAND records are becoming very scarce nowadays (later pink rim labels are quite easy to find), so this is your chance to complete your Traffic or PINK ISLAND label collection. Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
