Label- Parlophone
Cat- PMC 1202
UK MONO pressing, MT Tax stamp labels. Original Black and Gold Parlophone labels 'Parlophone Co Ltd'. Matrix numbers XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1N. An interesting transitional pressing SIDE 1 having, Northern Songs credits for tracks I saw her standing there and Misery, SIDE 2 having Dick James credits for tracks Secret & There's a Place. Correct 1st state sleeve with Angus McBean in correct position, EJ Day sleeve.
Condition
Record- Side One, having light surface marks and minor hairlines throughout, one mark being un-feelable running edge to centre label. There are some other minor marks throughout, one small feelable mark (not immediately visible) however generally grading in the (VERY GOOD MINUS) VG-. Side Two, visually presenting in better condition, some light wear and minimal marks, minor hairlines and light surface marks throughout, with a small lightly feelable mark just noticed. (VERY GOOD) VG.
Audio Grading- The record has been professionally clean on a project mk 1 cleaner. The audio grading exceeds the visual grade consistentnly, good clear crisp audio, some light surface noise occasinally noticed, mainly during less busy passages, run ins outs. There is one, small jump during the track I SAW HER STANDING THERE, with no other jumps noticed. (VERY GOOD PLUS) VG+
Sleeve- Original EJ Day sleeve flipback, with correctly alligned Angus Mcbean credit, the front sleeve is clean with some creasing and light marks, minor handling wear, light nicks, some edge and corner, storage wear rubbing scuffs, corner rounding. The spine text is legible, with some edge fragility, laminate wear etc. The reverse of the sleeve has some wear along the flipbacks, with some creasing marks staining and light repairing noticed, some staining and scuff presenting on the lower edge more predominantly. The central panel is lightly toned with some minor staining and marks, grading, GOOD + to VERY GOOD MINUS.
