DESCRIPTION
Trevor Jones / The London Symphony Orchestra / Marcus Dods - “The Dark Crystal Original Sound Track” Warner Bros. Records 1-23749 (Stereo) from 1982. Super Hard to find Soundtrack album from the Jim Henson and Frank Oz film “The Dark Crystal”. Music by Trevor Jones, performed by The London Symphony Orchestra Conducted by Marcus Dods with featured players including Maurice Murphy, Morris Pert, Richard Harvey and Christopher Taylor. Includes the Original Brian Froud Poster with Liner Notes. Original Embossed Cover with a Hype Sticker and, unlike many copies, NO Cutouts or Promo markings!
CONDITION
The Embossed Sleeve is in good solid shape. There is some basic shelf wear and some corner softening/wear. There is a crease in the upper left corner and there is some general edge creasing. There is a “Factory Sealed” sticker and another price(?) sticker in the upper left by the Hype Sticker - might be removable? Still very solid with no writing, splits, stains, tears, cutouts, etc. and I would rate it as VG. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking pretty lightly played. If you look closely you can spot a few light scuffs and hairlines but plays pretty much perfectly EX to Near Mint all through with maybe just a touch of groove noise in a couple quiet spots which might be removed with a better cleaning than I can give with my Discwasher brush. I’m calling it VG+ but it plays much better. The Poster shows some very slight wrinkling but looks largely untouched and is easily Near Mint. The Labels are Near Mint.

TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.
