Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.

I have many albums for sale, i collected lots of labels over the years such as DERAM, PEGASUS, VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL, CHARISMA, HARVEST, PINK ISLAND, RCA NEON, DANDELION etc......

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

I am selling this particular very special item for one of my dearest friends and fellow collectors, it has been cared for in his collection for a number of years and now you have a chance to bid on it and own it. Below is the note he gave me of the albums provenance.

Sorry this has taken a while, but here is the story of the TRex Futuristic Dragon LP autograph.
 
A friend of mine was manager of Reading Butts Shopping Center when Radio 210 started transmitting.  It was either the opening of the centre or the beginning of Radio 210 transmission when my friend entertained Marc Bolan and Lena Zavaroni amongst others who were there waiting for their moment when they were to take part in occasion.  While my friend was talking to him, Marc Bolan signed and gave my friend a copy of the current album he had on release at that time.  He then kept this record but since he is not interested in their music, I bought it from him.
(VERTIGO SWIRL / SPIRAL RELEASE)?!?

SLEEVE.....NON-GATEFOLD, and UN-LAMINATED. This is the very first printing of this sleeve. Quite flimsy and prone to damage. This one has survived very well. It is in GREAT condition showing VERY LITTLE wear and tear. The colours are very strong and vibrant . The bottom edge is N/MINT with NO wear. The top edges are also in N/MINT condition. The front is N/MINT with NO STICKERS or TEARS, NO STAINING and NO RING WEAR. There is very light wear to all four corners. The back of the sleeve is in EX condition with a little rubbing. The spine has NO creasing and is fully readable (as is the top edge writing). All in all this is in great condition for a sleeve of some 33 years of age, EX++.


The Autograph is a good size, is very clear and in ball point pen. SUPERB!


LABELS.....The A-side label is MINT with NO spindle wear, The B-side label shows no wear but it is scarred where a promotional sticker was removed(??)


INNER..... The stiff card lyric inner is in wonderful condition with just 1 or 2 age spots. EX+


VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have a deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see a few very faint surface hair lines which are caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve.  Both sides play WITHOUT  JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of listening pleasure at all, great stereo separation and sound stage.  There are dust crackles and the odd light click that can be heard only in the quieter parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean could sort out some of that. This really is a lovely copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection,   IN GREAT INVESTMENT/COLLECTABLE CONDITION AND IS GRADED AS AN HONEST EX+/EX+ SOME 33 YEARS OLD NOW???!!!
