Description

This is my EX / EX copy of this hard to find UK LP of DUKE REID recordings by VARIOUS ARTISTS - HERE COMES THE DUKE, released on TROJAN RECORDS in 1968 - TRL 6. It is a first pressing with the famous ORANGE LABELS, with the black bar under the labels logo, overprinting the words "A DUKE REID PRODUCTION, JAMAICA". The sleeve is in great shape, with firm edges, with just a little laminate lift and light creasing along the spine, which is un-damaged and fully readable.  The white card rear, is beautifully whie, clean and tidy, with just a two cm loss of surface card near the centre of the sleeves opening and a couple of tiny red ink marks being the only very light damage. The vinyl plays great and looks great. A LOVELY COPY OF THIS CLASSIC COLLECTION OF SKA INTO ROCK STEADY by KEN PARKER, TECHNIQUES, JOYA LANDIS, TERMITES, SOUL LADS, ALTON ELLIS, SUPERSONICS, DANNY SIMPSON & the great TOMMY McCOOK. ESSENTIAL
