TROUT FISHING IN AMERICA BORED TO DEATH 1979 RAREST LP

VINYL VG+++ TO NEAR MINT CLEAN

COVER  VG+++ TO NEAR MINT CLEAN NO SEAM SPLITS NO RINGWEAR IN ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP

Keith Grimwood, Ezra Idlet, Rom Rosenblum

14 SONGS  Eleanor Rigby; Masochism Tango; In The Night; Mr. Spaceman; Rock & Roll Woman; Lori’s Song; Ode To Big Blue; Funeral; I Got News; I Had To Tell You

RARE, ECLECTIC PRIVATE-PRESS mostly ACOUSTIC FOLK-ROCK by OBSCURE band! This band is still performing (and has made quite a few CDs); but this LP is so obscure it doesn’t show up on their own website’s discography Homemade job on the band’s very-own label, with no catalogue number. Features COOL and STRANGE renditions of mostly cover tunes – everyone from the Beatles (Eleanor Rigby) to Tom Lehrer (Masochism Tango) to Ray Charles (I Got News For You) to 13th Floor Elevators (I Had To Tell You) – blending folk-rock with a bit of down-home blues, rural/southern and even a whimsical jazz tune ("Funeral").
