Rare UK Jazz Album in EX+ Condition
The Vinyl is clean and shiny having been cleaned professionally. There are no stickers or writing on the label. There is minimal evidence of spindleware. Both surfaces are free of scratches and have only very very minimal marks apparently caused by 'sleeve' movement down the years.
The record plays without distortion or interference when played on a good-quality deck with an arm tracking at 1 gram. This is a fine copy of this LP and I would rate the condition of the Vinyl as EX+ using the RECORD COLLECTOR GUIDE to Condition Rating.
The Vinyl comes in its original polylined Inner Sleeve which is free of any tears or splits. There are some figures written in blue biro in the top right-hand corner of one side, which I suggest were probably some Stock or Cataloging Reference at one time.
The outer sleeve is in tact. There are no tears or splits and very little creasing. There is very little evidence of wear along the opening edge. There is no writing.
I would rate the sleeve as EX.
Please note that I reserve the grading 'Mint' only for items which I know to be new and unplayed. The grading I have given this item is therefore just about as high as its possible for me to give to a Used Record. It is truly a fine example of a great UK Jazz Album by one of the UK's best tenor players of all time. Highly recommended.
