Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the debut LP by British group Tubeway Army, released in 1981 to cash in on the popularity of group leader Gary Numan's international hit, "Cars" (the LP first appeared in the U.K. three years before). The group plays a somewhat punky version of the new wave pop of Numan's subsequent work on their debut. The jacket has a ¾” cutout notch, and is otherwise close to pristine (EX). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (EX-).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
