On offer here is an original first UK vinyl pressing of the 1979 LP 'Replicas' from Tubeaway Army (Gary Numan)., including the huge poster (measuring 76cm x 51cm ) that was included with initial copies.
The album features ten great tracks including 'Down In The Park' and the groundbreaking best selling single 'Are 'Friends' Electric?''.
It's on the Beggars Banquet record label, catalogue number BEGA 7. Inscriptions in the runout grooves read "BEGA-7 A1 STRAWBERRY" on side one and "BEGA-7 B1 STRAWBERRY" on side two.
The vinyl has hardly been used and looks great with the exception of two marks on side two (halfway through track one and at the divide between tracks one and two). I have listened very carefully to this part of the record and found that the first mark has no audible effect. For the second mark there are just two (barely discernible) 'clicks'. The first is in the dying seconds of track one and the second is in the first few seconds of track two. Besides this the whole LP plays perfectly! Overall condition: 'Very Good +/Excellent-".
The thick card outer sleeve shows some slight ringmarking and just a little edge wear. Condition: 'Very Good+/Excellent-'.
The printed card inner sleeve is almost like new. Condition: 'Excellent+'.
The limited edition poster has never been displayed and always kept in the record's sleeve. Condition: 'Excellent+'.
