NEGRO NEGRITO PEDRO / QUESTO E L'AMORE ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by TUCA arrangements by CHRISTIAN GAUBERT. Original Italian pressing on the PHILIPS label (6025017), from 1970. Obscure (and still quite unknown), promo-only single created for the 1970 Venice International Music Festival. A superb double-sider. Desirable item as it features alternative versions with Tuca singing in Italian over Christian Gaubert's infectious Brazilian arrangements. Sexy vocal bossa on NEGRO NEGRITO PEDRO that turns funky over the closing bars and mellow funk pop on QUESTO E L'AMORE with cool boom bap drums. Great for DJs. A forerunner to her Dracula I Love You sound. Alternative, picture sleeve artwork too. Rare 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in strong VG++ condition with some hairlines. Light surface noises. The picture sleeve is graded VG+ due to deterioration wear to upper spine side edge that affects both front and back sleeve. Some ring creasing from storage. Small pen line front bottom right corner. Rare 45!!!
