Tracks: Zevkim Evessim / Sana Tacrire Halim
Another excellent pair of "folksongs" sung by the great Haim Effendi (1853-1937), also a Sephardic singer who sang Turkish songs during the Ottoman era. This features excellent qanun playing, fiddle, and great vocals. This was recorded in Cairo ca. 1926-1927, as Haim Effendi was living in Alexandria at that time.
Condition: E- to E-- (plays better, light marks and tics, cool store sticker on label)
