Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Very clean pressing in near mint condition (M-/EX). The ‘Black Square’ sleeve is the RAREST of all the four original picture sleeves issued for this legendary ‘Bill Grundy’ EP by TELEVISION PERSONALITIES from London. eBay prices for the ‘Square Sleeve’ issue: £74 + £44 + £38. You are bidding on the original first UK pressing, released on the ‘Kings Road’ label in 1978 (matrix number LYN-5976/5977 ICRS). It is not one of those easy-to-find later pressings/second pressings on the ‘Rough Trade’ label. This excellent Mod / Punk / DIY punk 4-tracker includes the all-time classic ‘The Part Time Punks la-la-la-la-la-la The Part Time Punks’ which was born with wonderful lyrics like:

The other three tracks are ‘Happy Families’ / ‘Where’s Bill Grundy Now’ and the super-doooper Mod footstomper ‘Posing At The Roundhouse’. The band includes Ed Ball of O-LEVEL, TEENAGE FILMSTARS and Mod super-group the TIMES. Please don’t miss this legendary single from good old England.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
