Description

This is an original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by the Twentieth Century Zoo, released on the Vault label in 1969.  The group was from Phoenix, and played heavy late '60s rock with blistering fuzz guitar on tracks like "Rainbow" (also released as a single), "Love in Your Face," and "You Don't Remember."  The first LP by Eden's Children is a good touchstone.  The jacket unfortunately sustained some water damage (I'm presuming) while it was in storage.  This has mostly affected the back cover (the front cover looks good overall).  The main problems are some warping and some rippling in and staining on the back cover slick -- see photos.  Other more minor flaws are as follows: some corner and top seam wear; light ring, spine, and bottom seam wear; some sticker residue on the front cover; and a 1½” crease near one corner on the front cover.  Since the front cover is in good overall condition and the spine and seams are intact, I'll grade it VG-.  The disc has a few stains in the last track on side 1, one of which causes some surface noise at the very end of the track.  It otherwise has some scraping and scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- overall EX(-).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
