Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

Big Stay Hungry lot!
1) Stay Hungry LP - RARE original Specialty pressing from 1984 on Atlantic with circular We're Not Gonna Take It hype sticker in the top left hand corner on the front cover and printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a few barely visible paper scuffs.  Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful.  Evena has the original green circular $7.39 Rose Records (R.I.P.) price sticker on the front.  THAT'S provenance.
2) I Wanna Rock 45 - Specialty pressing from 1984 on Atlantic in the original picture sleeve with The Kids Are Back on the B-side!!!  Vinyl is a gorgeous VG++/NM-.  Sleeve is VG++ with a hint of ring.
3) The Price 45 - Specialty blue label PROMOTIONAL first pressing from 1984 on Atlantic with the same track on both sides in the original Atlantic sleeve!!!  Vinyl is a beautiful VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs.  Sleeve has no splits or seams whatsoever.
4) We're Not Gonna Take It 45 - another Specialty first pressing from 1984 on Atlantic in the original picture sleeve with You Can't Spot Rock 'N' Roll on the B-side!!!  Vinyl is a gorgeous VG++/NM-.  Sleeve is VG++ with a hint of ring.
5) Store Display - RARE original one-sided 12 X 12 in-store promotional display put out by Atlantic in 1984 with promotional text printed vertically down the side in the bottom left hand corner!!!  I bought this from a former manager of Tower Records (R.I.P.) here in Chicago who was a Twisted Sister fan and decided to rescue this one from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed of never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s.  These are the kinds of items glam metal fans are going to be fighting over fiercely in the very near future so don't sleep TS collectors.  Display is in great condition with no staple/pin holes, tears, stains, peel spots or tape residue, unlike most of the displays I've seen from this era.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
