First off,I am not a record grader in the sense that the widely accepted view of letter grading vinyl to me has much room for gaps in assessment.I always try to give as much info as I can,so the perspective buyer can make a comfortable judgment  Grading records or anything for that matter is subjective ,and opinions can and do vary.

Two Self Titled  Fleetwood Mac Lp's One is a Mobile Fidelity M-012  master recording in their series.The other is the Reprise issue MS 2225 .

As to condition.Lets go over them.Both are I would categorize as being in fine condition,with some observations.The Mobile Fidelity vinyl is extremely clean.Looking under bright light and daylight,I only see the faintest of a  few light ,very light marks.One could argue if they are a small scratch or not.You have to really inspect it to find them.The label is in top shape.Nothing I see that I feel needs reporting.This comes with a sheet from Mobile Fidelity ,that lists this album along with others in their series.Also,a customer request sheet ,that in essence is for any flaws that they should be contacted about.It has a custom sleeve and a cardboard inner sleeve.As to the jacket.The jacket looks to be in very nice condition.Nothing that stands out ,but to be extra picky,a slight start of a corner bump on the top,and tiny indent on the bottom of the cover.The spine looks good,with just a faint wearing of the ink on the catalog number.All these items are really hardly worth mentioning though.

The Reprise copy is also in very good condition.The vinyl does have some very light and scattered scratches,but in my view they are of the superficial variety.I do not see anything deep.A few are longer but light.The jacket is in good condition.Not as white as the MFSL cover,but in nice shape.Again being picky,a tiny bend  back at the open,along with a tiny tiny dent on the bottom.The label looks good as well.What looks to be a very tiny ink mark at 7 o clock on side 1.It might be from the factory.It comes with a plain white inner sleeve and a sheet with the lyrics to the songs.


I tested a few songs on my turntable,and they played well.I also tested for flatness,and both looked as they should.If you want an mp3 sample of any cut,please email me and I will send it along.
