TWO Seminal 1969 Rock/Blues Albums – T2, Sam Apple Pie -- their 1st LPs.

Crazy popular in live concerts, T2 and SamApple Pie and their debut LPs didn’t capture international attention whenreleased in 1969. These original vinyl are hard to find. SOLD ONLY AS A PAIR, these are used, original albums from 1969.

T2 were an English progressive-rock band best known for their 1969album (Decca records on the London/Sire label), “It’ll All Work Out in Boomland.”

T2 was comprised of drummer Peter Dunton, bassist Bernard Jinks and Bulldog Breed guitarist, Keith Cross. The trio played a form of psychedelic or proto-prog rock  It is generally regarded as an excellent album though with limited distribution. There are only four songs on the LP, including fan favorite “'No More White Horses.”

Here’s what Laurence Todd wrote on the Velvet Thunder website in 2021 in theUK:

“It’ll All Work Out In Boomland is, for this writer, a classic album of its time, and a follow-up of similar quality would probably have seen the band moving upwards towards the big league. The album contains only four tracks and it’s a purposeful example of the power T2 possessed, an album drenched with frenzied guitar blasts, melodic acoustic playing and also the occasional subtle enhancement of orchestration.”

Sam Apple Pie were a British blues-rock band, of the late 1960s and 1970s. Their self-titled album released in 1969 by Decca on the London/Sire label. The group played at the first Glastonbury Festival in 1970, and for playing a role in the early careers of several musicians including Gary Fletcher, Dave Charles and Malcolm Morley.  They wrote all but one of the songs on Sam Apple Pie,which also featured lead singer Sam Sampson with Mike Smith and Andy Johnson on guitars, bassist Bob "Dog" Rennie and Dave Charleson drums.

Subsequently, Fletcher took up auto racing. Charles became a recording engineer, working with Jeff Beck, Nick Lowe, Judas Priest and the Stray Cats,while also performing with Dave Edmunds

Both T2 and Sam Apple Pie disbanded in the1970s and reformed with various artists in subsequent years.

Both used albums were promotional copies with one owner. Both albums play beautifully. Sam Apple Pie has a white mark on the lower left front cover and T2 has scuffs on the right back cover.
