This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK DEMO PROMO PRESSING - MOD / BEAT / SOUL single by TWO’S COMPANY from 1966, ORIGINAL UK PROMO PRESSING COPY IN NEAR MINT CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - MOD / BEAT / SOUL - UK PROMO PRESSING COPY single that RARELY comes up for sale IN THIS NEAR MINT CONDITION !!! This was the ONE AND ONLY release by this obscure MOD / BEAT duo and is a GREAT - MOD / SOUL BEAT single !!! I read on one website that a member of the group says a young JIMMY PAGE (way before LED ZEPPELIN) played guitar on this single as a session musician, but I can not confirm this, here is what he says: "My enduring memory is that between takes during the recording session, I got chatting to the young guy playing guitar. He told me his name was Jimmy Page. Years later he became the legendary guitarist with the monster group Led Zeppelin, but back in 1966 he was earning a crust reading the dots off a music stave as part of the musical team put together by Claire for our record”.
The tracks are: NOW THAT I LOVE YOU / AS BEFORE.
The single came out on POLYDOR RECORDS catalogue number BM 56072.
The condition of the vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition (PLAYED ONCE ONLY !!! + library writing on labels ) + ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE (with minor writing) !!!
