This is the rare UK 1st press of 'A Beard Of Stars' by Tyrannosaurus Rex. This 1st press is on the red Regal Zonophone label, it has the early YCARX 65-1U / YCARX 66-3U and laminated sleeve.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl still has a superb high gloss, with just a few light marks and a few hairlines on both sides. On playing the sound is warm, rich and clear with some light occasional background noise. The red Regal Zonophone label is clean, very solid red and bright silver text. There is light spindle wear.
The rare insert is in Excellent condition. It is extremely clean and bright. The text and the image are sharp and unworn and the edges are firm.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a sensational shine, the picture is sharp and the laminate is flat. There are a couple of tiny laminate creases and it has the slightest corner wear. The whole cover feels very solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
