TYRANNOSAURUS REX

PROPHETS SEERS & SAGES

THE ANGELS OF THE AGES

1968 UK REGAL ZONOPHONE MONO LRZ 1005

X CARX 47-1

X CARX 48-1

Here is a rare original 1968 uk MONO first pressing of the excellent second album by Marc Bolan's 'Tyrannosaurus Rex'. This rare first MONO uk pressing is in excellent clean condition and both sides play very near perfect. The 'G&L' textured flip-back cover is excellent and the red mono Regal Zonophone labels are superb. Unfortunately the original one page lyric insert is missing.

MONO VINYL = EX to EX+ (PLAYS & SOUNDS SUPERB)

The thick mono vinyl is very clean with a excellent original sheen, there are no nasty surface marks or scratches at all, there are just a few very light wispy top surface scuff marks and a few fine hairlines that have no affect on play. There really are no bad surface marks/scratches so there are no areas with repeated clicks or pops or annoying loud crackle, this album sounds superb throughout and plays with barely any background crackle at all, this album really does play and sound very near perfect.

MONO REGAL ZONOPHONE LABELS = EX+

The red MONO Regal Zonophone labels are in excellent very clean condition, there are some light spindle traces on both sides due to careful play otherwise the labels are superb.

FRONT TEXTURED FLIP BACK SLEEVE = EX

The original 'Garrod & Lofthouse' textured flip-back cover is in excellent condition. The delicate textured front cover has some light wear as almost all copies have but it still looks great. The back is very clean with just the very lightest signs of wear. The top and bottom edges have some slithers of shelf/storage wear but there are no splits. The spine also has some small areas of wear but all text is bold and clear and very easy to read.

Unfortunately this very nice mono copy no longer has the original one page lyric insert.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
