Vinyl

Near Mint (NM or M-)

A nearly perfect record. A NM or M- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling.

Vinyl

The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner.

IN this instance the only problem with the cover is slight wear and marking on the bottom of the sleeve as documented in the photos. This is just from 30 years of storage and house moves.

Note from the seller, erm, me...

I saw Gil and the band on this tour twice and they were two of the best gigs I ever went to! An amazing character Gil and a gifted poet and spokesman on civil rights issues as well as a great songwriter, musician and singer. A great raconteur too, he made the audience laugh out-loud with his sharp wit and anecdotes at both gigs. It's so sad that drug addiction took hold in his later years and saw his personal life spiral out of control. His hook up with Jamie XX was wonderful and a fitting way to bow out after a fantastic 50+ year career.


 Tales of Gil is a live concert, recorded at the Town and Country Club, London, on the 14th of March 1990 This album captures him and his brilliant live band at their best. RIP Gil. xxx

The reason I'm selling a lot of my vinyl and CD collection, is because the kids are getting bigger and the house is getting smaller! Basically, it was either the kids or the records, sadly the coin came down tails...Thanks for looking!
