Tales of the Great Rum Runners, by Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead, 1974 Vintage LP
This is an excellent 1st pressing vintage copy of this album, Round Records RX-101. The Dead Wax number inscribed on the record shows RX-104-A (first pressing).
Robert Hunter wrote the lyrics for many of the Dead's greatest songs. The album includes members of the Dead, as well as many famous musicians from the San Francisco music scene. The cover is in excellent shape with its original shrink wrap. The shrink wrap has some tape reinforcing the leading edges (but not on the outside of the cover). The vinyl is excellent, basically new. I bought this record when it first came out, and immediately recorded it to tape. Please see the pictures above for details of the cover and the records, etc..
I've included a picture of an Empire 598 turntable, which is the only turntable model this record was ever played on, with the best Stanton cartridge available at the time.
